Therapy:
I have extensive experience supporting folks with trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions and stressors, work stress, communication, self-esteem, and navigating narratives outside the dominant discourse. I practice therapy out of Relational Associates, a small southern California practice I co-founded.
Speaking:
I speak on wellbeing and provide psychoeducation presentations to companies. Please contact me for rates and availability.
Consulting:
I consult with therapists to provide clinical support and help with business administration, and folks in corporate settings hoping to make a change.
My Approach
My practice uses relational Gestalt, trauma-responsiveness, and somatic embodiment, and is attuned to your unique needs and life. I incorporate metaphor, imagery, and embodiment in my practice, as well as an activism lens. I am passionate about my clients feeling seen, heard, and understood. I have an easeful demeanor that is also playful; I will laugh and cry with you in our sessions. I also understand the discomfort that can sometimes accompany growth, and collaborate on resources to support you during the process.
Before becoming a therapist, I practiced law for years. My experience in the legal industry makes me well aware of the social, cultural, and organizational barriers that can make it challenging to find time and space for relationships and support while working in a high-stress environment. I am a fierce advocate for my clients.
